Kevin Lawlor E-200, RYT-500 began practicing Yoga in 2010, on the recommendation of a physical therapist, to correct physical and strength imbalances that had developed in his body after a lifetime of playing competitive sports. Kevin’s love of the physical aspects of Yoga has led him to study numerous styles of Yoga focusing on Flow, Alignment and Restoration of the body. In Anusara Yoga he has completed a 100 hr. Immersion with Mandy Eubanks and a 34 hr. Intensive Training Class focusing on Yoga Therapy with Martin Kirk. He has studied Power/Vinyasa Yoga extensively completing the 200 hr. LifePower Yoga program designed by Jonny Kest taught by Tracey Miller and he was awarded at teaching certificate by Bryan Kest, one of the founders of Power Yoga, in 2013 after 3 yrs. of studying with Bryan. Kevin earned his 500 hr. certification with Paul Grilley, the founder of Yin Yoga in 2015, in 2016 he earned another 200 hr. certification from the Everyone Yoga School in Tulsa and is scheduled to complete his certification in Mobility with Dr. Kelly Starrett in 2016. In addition to the physical practice of Yoga Kevin has also studied Vipassana meditation at the Southwest Vipassana Meditation Center and completed a course in Yoga Studies online at Oxford University.

Yin Yoga focuses on increasing muscular flexibility and joint mobility while improving the health of ligaments and tendons. Postures are designed to get to the deeply rooted sources of tension within all the major skeletal joints of the body to restore proper range of motion and improve joint stability. This class complement your CrossFit practice by improving the range of motion of your joints while nourishing your ligaments, tendons and fascia.
